Slipped my mind completely.
Wedding anniversay
12th Ramadhan
decades ago.
at Makkah Al-Mukarammah.
Tied the knot.
only fresh fruits served.
Just Mauz, 'ainab, wa khoh.
No sweets at all
nor meal
but off course
coffee, a must have.
After,
there we stood
by the window
in the hallway
staring at the kaabah
the house of Allah
making do'a
for a blessed future
together
in marriage.
